Harry V. Osborne joined the firm in 1973, following service as a judicial clerk to Hon. John Ackerman, Assignment Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Union County. He has a varied litigation practice involving personal injury claims, admiralty and maritime matters, and insurance coverage disputes. He has prepared and tried complex cases throughout New Jersey in both federal and state courts. His trial experience includes personal injury claims, and disputes over insurance issues, such as the interpretation of various policy forms and the extent of insurance coverage. His professional memberships include the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Bar Association of the District of Columbia; the Monmouth County Bar Association; the Maritime Law Association of the United States; the Defense Research Institute; the New Jersey Defense Association; and the Association of Average Adjustors of the United States.
Mr. Osborne graduated in 1969 from Trinity College, with a Bachelors Degree in History. Thereafter, he received a Juris Doctorate, with honors, from George Washington University Law School in 1972. After completing his judicial clerkship, he joined the firm in 1973 and has continuously been engaged in the practice of law with Evans, Osborne and Kreizman, and its predecessor firms.
Mr. Osborne has long been active in civic affairs. He previously served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Bonnie Brae Farm in Millington, New Jersey. For many years he has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Cerebral Palsy of Monmouth and Ocean County, Inc., serving as President of that Board from 1985 to 1988. In 1994 he was the recipient of the Ann Klein Advocate Award presented by the Community Health Law Project for advocacy on behalf of persons with disabilities.
